New Church Website

Tonight I launched my church's new site: www.reachstl.org. I've been working on this new look a few hours here, a few there for over a month. I think it's a marked improvement over the last design (it's okay to be biased, I designed the last look also).

Let me know what you think of the look, positive or negative. Negative feedback won't hurt my feelings... I'm not a designer, although I occasionally play one on TV.

It is a nice clean design. Well organized and easy to navigate, which is good for a church site. I'm not sure about the NFC background. The floating N on the left side threw me off until I got to a page with more content. You might want to add just a little more padding/margin to the left sidebar between the edge and the text. Overall, very impressive for a non-designer. Did you stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night?

Now with 30% fewer rotating skulls!

Tho it would be nice to see a generic mailto under those contact details. Phones are scary, and mail is, well, silly.

Otherwise, like Scott said: nice clean design.

(Pastor Masters?! Isn't he that rightous kung-fu minister from the 70s?)
